an exploration of form
In Constraint, everyday objects are reimagined through a radical geometric transformation. Familiar items such as fruits, hats, and ice creams are forced into rigid, angular shapes that distort their natural forms. This visual art series challenges our perception by replacing organic curves with hard, squared volumes — turning the ordinary into something unfamiliar.
The textures and colors remain recognizable, anchoring the viewer in reality, yet each object is confined within a strict visual order that suppresses spontaneity. The result is a surreal tension between what is natural and what is imposed — creating a visual paradox that invites closer inspection.
Constraint is a conceptual photography and design project that reflects on the limits of form, the negotiation of identity, and the fragile balance between chaos and control. It invites viewers to see familiar objects through a new lens — one shaped by constraint, precision, and visual disruption.
